Body W/O Borders is a play by Turkish-German playwright Özlem Özgül Dündar, translated by Henning Bochert, dealing with the stories of migrant Turkish workers who came to Germany in the fifties and sixties.

Özlem Özgül Dündar, born 1983 in Solingen (Gemany), writes poetry, prose, texts for the stage, and essays; she performs with her collectives “Kana Attak Leipzig” and “Ministerium für Mitgefühl” (Ministry for Empathy) and is also an editor (FLEXEN Flâneusen* schreiben Städte; Verbrecher Verlag, Berlin 2019) and translator, often of poetry from Turkish into German.

Henning Bochert works as a writer, lecturer, dramaturg, and (federal certification) translator in Berlin. Since 2007, he is a board member of raum4 – netzwerk für künstlerische alltagsbewältigung e. V., and since 2009, of Drama Panorama: Forum for Translation and Theater e. V., an international platform for theater translators.
