About the Writer
GUILLERMO REYES is an award-winning playwright whose plays have been widely produced, including Men on the Verge of a His-Panic Breakdown and Mother Lolita as off-Broadway productions with Urban Stages, Chilean Holiday and Saints at the Rave at the Humana Festival at Actors Theatre of Louisville, among others. In 2010, he published Madre and I: A Memoir of our Immigrant Lives with the University of Wisconsin Press. His play, That Day in Tucson, was recently published by the Dramatic Publishing Company. He is a professor at Arizona State University in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre.
About the Cast
ANA MIRAMONTES (Teresa) is currently earning her M.F.A. in acting at the University of Arkansas. Regional credits include Lucha in American Mariachi and Eva in At the Wedding, working in theaters including Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey and Theatre Squared.
TIA PULIKAL (Nadia) most recently appeared in StreetSigns/Process Series production of Jim Grimsley’s Cascade. She is a second year student at UNC Chapel Hill who discovered acting after taking Joseph Megel’s first year seminar.
