The effects of climate change become personal in this play about a coastal family and community grappling with the aftermath of a devastating hurricane. FIRE grant recipients, Laura Moore and Kathryn Hunter-Williams (Department of Dramatic Arts Faculty) teamed up to create Rollover based on hard science and informed by documentary-style interviews. UNC alumnus Jules Odendahl-James, who will direct this reading, has also been a part of this dynamic STEM team, serving as project dramaturg throughout the development process. Rollover is a deeply moving narrative that also aims to create shared understanding and inspire action.

Co-sponsored by the UNC-CH Earth, Marine and Environmental Sciences Department, the Institute of Marine Science, the UNC Institute for the Environment, and the Collaboratory for Coastal Adaptation over Space and Time (C-CoAST).
