The effects of climate change become personal in this play about a coastal family and community grappling with the aftermath of a devastating hurricane. FIRE grant recipients, Laura Moore and Kathryn Hunter-Williams (Department of Dramatic Arts Faculty) teamed up to create Rollover based on hard science and informed by documentary-style interviews. UNC alum Jules Odendahl-James, who will direct this reading, has also been a part of this dynamic team, serving as project dramaturg throughout the development process. Rollover is a deeply moving narrative that also aims to educate and inspire action.
Co-sponsored by the Department of Earth, Marine and Environmental Sciences, the Institute for Marine Science, and the Institute for the Environment
