2022-2023 Process Series Submissions
Mainstage Season submissions
We are accepting submissions on a rolling basis for our mainstage season. We produce multidisciplinary performances in dramatic arts, music, dance, the visual arts and hybrid forms that are in progress and could benefit from audience feedback to further develop the work. Pieces can be in various stages of development. Selected performances will receive two public performances in the Process Series mainstage season at UNC-Chapel Hill, receive a stipend, and participate in audience feedback sessions.
Faculty Series Initiative submissions
During the 2019-2020 season, we ushered in a Faculty Series Initiative to support projects developed and created by UNC faculty in the visual and performing arts. This initiative has allowed us to reserve several slots each season for faculty pieces in development. Interdisciplinary collaborations between departments and disciplines are highly encouraged.
The goal of this initiative is to provide support and visibility for new faculty performances nearing the final stages of completion. Each faculty project will be awarded a stipend, a spot in the Process Series mainstage season, and marketing support. We will also arrange for a post-performance discussion and provide you with audience feedback.
Applications for the 21-22 season have closed. Please check back in January for next season.
Student submissions
The Process Series will showcase student performance pieces in a shared concert in spring 2022. Each project will be limited to under 30 minutes. Interdisciplinary projects are encouraged. Selected pieces will receive a $500 stipend. Submissions are due September 14.
